Lino Prints

Through the use of simple forms and lines, Mary represents the vital features of the natural and built heritage of an island known by the Norse as Thjorsey (Bull Island) and in Irish as Oileán Baoí.

The lino cut prints depict scenes of the landscapes that Mary was surrounded by on her daily walks, oftentimes juxtaposed against the wild Atlantic that so defines the island’s sense of place.
